Hello All, specially people from Olomouc and Brno, I am coming soon for some hot and intensive samba-axé classes.

From April O6th, Studio NA SKOK will open new schedule and one of the things on the new time table will be my classes of Samba-axé. Every thursday and you can choose between two different schedule. Have a look on their web page and come to join me.

Sorry for not been up dating last week, but I have been very busy and today I came to inform you that I will also be teaching in August holidays ... good bye:))) The regular lessons should start at the beginning of september but because of one reconstrution on the room, we gonna start only at the end of september. So, I am opening a new course in August to do not let my students 2 months without me:)

Hey there...Finally I come to confirm the workshops for this summer.
Come to join my lessons in July, this time the lessons wont be only Samba-axé, I´ve got the mood to teach you during this special workshops another Brazilian dances, as Maxixe, Gafieira, forro, Samba-funk ,zouk and Lambada.
Not enough? Ok, I also invited some another Brazilian teachers to be part of it,each lesson a different guest to give you a great experience with a lot of fun and energy.

Yesterday my students once again suprised me.In a good way! The people that are longer with me, taking Samba lessons, pushed me to remember my mam saying something like: Oh my god, do you really want to teach people Czech is samba? hehehehe
As many people, my Mam thought that would be a waste of time to do that, but not only with Czech people but with all those are not Brazilian. Well, my mam was wrong! My students showed me that yesterday. They are cute ... does not look like the girls that arrived in my lesson on the first time with that jéžiš maria faces! They can understand the music I am playing, mostly all the time knows what I mean and even laugh with my mistakes hehehe

As you know, Brazilians are very into music and consequently dance. As many of my students keep asking who are the singers and groups I play during my samba lessons he is some names and tips about them.
Ivete Sangalo is the queen of Axé nowadays but this position, for me, she has to share with Daniela Mercury who started before Ivete and has a lot of awards and international career with 12 millions albums sold worldwide plus 8 millions only in Brazil. Both of them comes from Bahia and have a incredible vocal capacity and you can see all biography and discography in English at Wikipedia.
Mart´nalia, who is my new affair, one of my favourite cds is the one Live in Berlin. She has a famous father, Martinho da Villa, a samba singer also very good that I use to play time by time.
Elza Soares, Jesus...this one is incredible…she is 71 years old and still performing in her best with a unique voice that Louis Armstrong used to call her: My Daughter.
Also, I like use to play Roberta Sá, É o than, Margareth Menezes, Beth Carvalho, Olodum, Timbalada, Alcione, Fernanda Abreu, Carlinhos Brown, Monobloco, Zeca Pagodinho, Jorge Aragao...
Well...are many great things I use during my lessons… with the names you can find in internet more about them. After, I will bring you another list of Brazilian singers that I do not play on my lessons.
